My name is Angela Threeton, and I have worked for First United Methodist Church for over four years as a nursery worker. Recently, more of you  have had the chance to get to know me better, because I have moved into the Church Office as the Front Desk Administrative Assistant as of August last year. I have enjoyed this transition into the church office immensely, working on the Sunday bulletin each week along with answering the phones and helping the church members get the information and help they need. I am gradually learning the names and faces of the members of the congregation and look forward to having the opportunity to meet everyone.

I am a native of Hammond and the oldest of three children in my family. I have a sister in high school and a brother in the fifth grade. I graduated from St Thomas High School in 2008 and am currently enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and working towards a minor in English. While currently concluding my sophomore year, I have plans to continue on and obtain my Masters Degree.

When I have spare time, I enjoy music art and especially reading. One of my favorite pastimes is watching old movies on TCM. Some of my personal favorites include Singin’ in the Rain, King Creole, West Side Story, and more recently, Amadeus. I enjoy caring for the children of the church as well as being a part of the church office staff. I am grateful for the opportunities the church has provided for me and I look forward to continuing to grow and become part of this church family.
